Here's what some of our guests and speakers had to say about the event!

"This event was a good combination of theory and practice. The Q&A panel was a great mix of academics who work in the industry as well as industry leaders showing real-world examples of their challenges and hurdles. This event have everyone a good overview of the theories as well as how to implement them. Seeing how different companies have gone through their technological journeys has been very useful". - Felix Tsul, Global Head of MTWO, Senior Vice President

"The presentation covered a lot of topics without moving too quickly, a very comprehensive event with a lot of great information". - Martin Fischer, Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Director of the Centre for Integrated Facility Engineering (CIFE) at Stanford University

"I thought the event was fantastic. I enjoyed the way the different presentations, without prior coordination, all ended up communicating the same message. What that tells me is that we're all looking at the industry from different perspectives, but we've got a pretty good idea about the direction we're heading".

- Dr Samuel MacAulay, Senior Lecturer in Strategy at University of Technology Business School.

"It was a great event. All the speakers were very interesting, and everyone was really engaged. All the guests stayed right until the end. I've never seen that at an event, many leave part way through. The presentations were great because we don't usually hear from the academia side so having two academics speaking about how they're collaborating with the industry was great".

- Ron Kwok, One Commercial Partner, Microsoft

"I thought it was an excellent event that was very well organised. The content from the speakers was superb, it was relevant to the industry and it clearly resonated through the entire audience. The presentations crystalised a lot of the thoughts I already had a conversations I've had with other people within the industry back home in the UK. It really communicated that need to drive for transformational change and digitalisation. It's a core topic that must be applied if we're going to move forward as an industry.

- Richard Robertson, Director, Cadline
